2008 SEASON RECAP

Check out the 2008 season team awards, all-conference and all-state honors and new records set from a very successful second season of WolfPack football.

2008 Season Recap:
The Glacier WolfPack took tremendous strides in their second season winning their first two games in program history and increasing their total program wins from 10 in their first ever season of 2007 to 16 in 2008, year #2. The varsity opened up with a 21-14 win on the road over the Butte Bulldogs to secure their first ever varsity victory and followed it up two weeks later with another road win against the Hellgate Knights 27-20 to begin the season 2-1. They finished 2-8 on the season but were very competitive in each contest and showed great improvement throughout the entire season. The JV finished 2-8, the Sophomores finished 7-1 and the Freshmen finished 5-3 to total 16 program victories. Many important program goals were achieved and exceeded in 2008 setting things up for continued growth and an exciting 2009 campaign. Many records were set in 2008 and top 10 lists were established by some excellent play on the field on offense, defense and special teams. The overall program goal continues to focus on building a program of excellence and establishing a strong football tradition and the 2008 season was another strong step in the right direction.
